Iris holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics and a master’s degree in economics from Bar Ilan University.

A former president of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Israel, Iris is a member of the Central Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Iris holds unique certification in the quality assurance of internal auditors’ internal audit system from the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

She has more than 35 years of experience in company auditing, internal auditing and accounting, auditing of corporations and non-profit organizations, company and individual taxation, approved manufacturing enterprises and the government sector, along with expertise in economic and strategic consulting for business and public sector clients.

Iris serves on the boards of several public and market-leading companies in Israel.

She is on the Justice Ministry’s list of corporate trustees and operators and on the national database of office holders who act in the courts in the insolvency proceedings of associations, public benefit companies and Ottoman associations.

Iris is a lecturer in various institutions including Tel Aviv University, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Israel Bar Association.

She appears on leading TV shows as an economic commentator.

Iris has served variously as Executive Chair of the board of directors of the Ashdod Port Company, a director of Bank Massad, a director and member of the Audit and Finance Committee of Israel Electric Corporation, a director of Bezeq, a director of First International Bank, and more.
